What To Expect At Court

When a child attends Juvenile Court, Children and Family Services offers supervision of children ages four (4) years and older, in a child friendly environment. If appropriate, all children age four (4) and above attend the initial Court hearing in order to meet with their appointed counsel.

For future hearings, all children age ten (10) and above have the right to attend their hearings and arrangements are made accordingly for the child(ren) to participate.
